This rustic to revitalized kitchen reno on Stoney Lake had to maintain a period aesthetic to match its century old cottage. A wonderful collaboration between designers Lisa Besseling & Debra Ramsay and our internal design team allowed the creation of a space that eliminated 3 small rooms which were opened up into 1 larger space, affording the grand island and open format room. Soap stone counters, quarter sawn oak cabinetry and replica entry door along with light fixturing and original cook top stove and V-joint panelling created the ambiance of always being there. Even the floors were brand new but beaten and scraped into a state of feeling a century old.
