The Kawartha Lakes Construction Company Ltd.(KLC) is a professional design/build company specializing in custom homes, custom cottages, renovations and additions in the Peterborough, Lindsay, Lakefield, Kawartha Lakes and Greater Toronto Areas. For over 20 years, we have been delivering professional, high quality work that reflects each client's personal style and needs. Our reputation is built on our commitment to providing innovative, customized design and superb craftsmanship thorough planning, smart building practices and construction experience.

Scott Wootton – President
Scott is the driving force of Kawartha Lakes Construction. Specializing in building and remodelling projects in the Kawarthas since 1988, Scott is an active member of the Ontario Home Builders Association, a member of the Ontario Renovators Council and Peterborough & District Home Builders Association, and a skilled tradesman. A graduate of the University of Waterloo, Scott strives to stay abreast of current building practices and business strategies, and has participated in the Remodelers Advantage Roundtables with other construction professionals for the past several years. Committed to the science of building, his own home won an R-2000 Excellence Award for best overall design in Ontario.

Mike Pedlar – Operations Manager
A graduate of York University, Mike joined the KLC team in 1994 and has been our Production Manager since 2002. Mike is a natural planner and a gifted scheduler, and it's those skills that keep our projects running in a smooth and timely manner. By maintaining communication with the client, the production team, and all subcontractors, Mike ensures budgets are adhered to, deadlines are kept, and client needs are met.

Mario Yee – Project Developer
Mario Yee joined KLC in 1997. Holding a degree in Business Administration from Lakehead University, Mario works to ensure our client's visions become a reality. With past experience in sales management and merchandising, and over 10 years field experience as one of our lead production hands prior to coming into the office, we feel a great deal of pride in the level of skill he brings to his position in estimating and customer service. 

Christine Watts – Residential Designer
Christine Watts is a design specialist, an Architectural Technologist and a graduate of  Humber College. When she joined the team in 2003, KLC began providing clients with in-house custom design services. Christine uses state-of-the-art architectural software to  create designs that are both innovative and functional, taking client's ideas and bringing them to life in three-dimensional reality.

D'Arcy Scott – Project Leader 
D'Arcy has been part of the KLC team since 1996. His skill set is very diverse. He easily handles a full range of projects, from complex renovations to highly customized new home construction. He is also responsible for overseeing our warranty department, maintaining client relationships and ensuring that KLC's high standards continue to be met, now and into the future. 

Crystal Metheral – Financial Controller/Accounting
Crystal is a graduate of Fleming College's Business Administration program and has 18 years of finance/administration & training at Breken Group in Peterborough. The construction industry is a new opportunity for her to expand her skills, and she is always willing and ready to learn new or more efficient methods, and she loves that the construction trade is never uninteresting. Crystal was born & raised in Peterborough and currently resides in Ennismore.

Reva Johnston – Project Developer
Reva brings with her over 15 years experience in the Construction field, specializing for the last 10 years on kitchen & bath design & renovation. Her knowledge of '20/20' Design software and an Interior Decorating Diploma help her to understand our client's needs, and work with them to realize their dreams of a more functional and beautiful space, whether in a simple renovation or a larger project. Being a very goal-oriented person, we are excited to add Reva to our team.

Cindy Windover – Sales Coordinator
Coming from a family of custom builders & tradesmen has given Cindy knowledge of the building process, from property requirements through the design process to finished product. Being on the front desk gives her the opportunity to interact with the clients and answer some of their initial questions, as well as assisting them when needed through the design process. Having grown up in the area, she knows the lakes and the 'cottage culture' that are very much part of the Kawartha Lakes area.
