This important phase helps the client understand the legal, physical, financial and time parameters of a project.
Phase 1 - The Detailed Estimate
Once the proposed budget range for the project is established, the client signs off on Phase 1 of a Project Development Agreement. This gives Kawartha Lakes Construction permission to do a feasibility study and further develop the project for a nominal fee.
These findings are then used to come up with a conceptual plan and initial, detailed budget. Once complete, a client is free to accept or reject this proposal.
Phase 1 includes:
- feasibility study
- preliminary drawings
- preliminary budget relative to client objectives
- outline of the preliminary scope of work based on site investigation
- outline of the required parameters of your project, materials and timelines.
Phase 2 - The Final Design and Quote
This is the final step in selecting Kawartha Lakes Construction.
For a designated fee, we prepare a detailed design based on client objectives. We then take this design and create a final quote to further explain the processes and cost.
Phase 2 includes:
- working drawings and specifications relative to client objectives
- line item budgeting for product selections and descriptions (including product quality and level of finish)
- accurate and realistic timelines
- detailed construction agreement with options (if any) and allowances.
